Those who have different religions, but same minds - Novel peace prize winners 2014.

Those who have different religions,

but same minds.

Novel peace prize winners 2014.

Nobel prize winners stories made a great flutter. The most interest of them is a Nobel prize for peace. This year, there are two winners. One is just a 17 years old girl, which made headline. More amazing thing is she started the work for peace at the age of 11.

Someone in the news is Malala Yousafzai. This girl living in Pakistan posted the content about “Women have a right to receive an education” on her blog in 2009, and then BBC and New York Times reported that. Since then, she was shoot by Taliban which is group that ban for women to go to school. Dramatically, however, she survived and then brave girl who has still struggled for the right that women receive education.

If I were shoot and survived like her, could I give my opinion to the world? Because she deserved to be won, many people give it up for her.

The other is Kailash satyarthi, who is a 60 years old man living in India and battled away against Child Exploitation with nonviolence. He led opposite demonstration of child forced labor, and he saved child slavery and rehabilitated. He got credit for those. He founded the group; ‘Save Children”, and over 80,000 children

have been saved out of forced labor, received education , and

provided opportunities in the way of getting their living by this

group since 1983.

“Two winners who have different religions (Islam and Hinduism) battle for women education and against child exploitation, which is the most meaningful”, Novel peace prize committee said. Whoever young women like Kailash Satyarthi and old men like Kailash satyarthi can try to work for world peace. Being interested in peace and watching people doing peace movements can also be peace work.
So, we can a peace activist as a member of IPYG. I hope people who concern about peace will become more and more with IPYG.
